Our road trip brought us through the rocky mountains and high desert plains of Wyoming today.

Our traveling Llama, Llarry, needed a drink after so many hours on the road. This cool cerveza hit the spot. Luckily, we found a family owned Mexican restaurant that was serving up the most delicious food in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Expertly made quesadillas, enchiladas and fajitas almost made the long drive feel worth it.

Shopping looks different out here. We are not on the east coast any longer.

It’s good to get a new perspective every so often and try on a pair of someone else’s shoes. Damn, do they have cool cowboy boots out here. And a lot of cowboys, too. Real cowboys working the cattle ranches and horse farms we traveled by on the road. This is big sky country for sure.

One of the best parts of a road trip is, well, the things you see from the road! Some parts of driving all day are so tedious and boring. Other parts take your breath away.

We are on the road to the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho next! It’s the first destination we are going to stop and explore for a while, and I’m really looking forward to it.
